February 2009 - Pictures from MIAM

One of the February highlights was the visit to MIAM by Dr. Peter Agre, Nobel laureate and Director of the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute. In addition to meeting with MIAM staff members to review various research projects, he was also able to watch the MIAM volleyball team and soccer team in action. Being a former soccer coach, he even offered some words of encouragement to the team, who won the game that day.
